The inspiration behind Shakti Peak Yoga

Shakti Peak Yoga was born during a challenging chapter of my life, when I was 19 and a university student. Yoga became my refuge — a space where I could see myself clearly, accept what I feared, and grow in a genuine, grounded way.

In 2016, I traveled to India for the first time. There, I realized that yoga was not just a practice; it was a path that opens inner landscapes. I returned again after completing my studies to finish my multi‑style yoga training, and that experience sparked my desire to share this practice with others.

In 2019 I came back to Greece, and in 2021 I began my training as a Mountain Leader, which I completed in 2024. The mountains — beyond my deep love for nature — taught me humility, resilience, and how life’s experiences mirror the unpredictable challenges of a trail: steep climbs, sudden fog, unexpected obstacles, and moments of clear sky.

From all of this, Shakti Peak Yoga emerged: a practice that weaves together the strength of yoga, the wisdom of the mountains, and the truth of nature. A space where people can breathe, ground themselves, and return to their own inner peak.

What makes Shakti Peak Yoga unique?

Shakti Peak Yoga is unique because it weaves together yoga, nature, and the wisdom of the mountains into one holistic experience. It’s not just a class — it’s a path back to yourself.

My teaching blends Vinyasa, Hatha, and Ashtanga Fundamentals, often merging all elements depending on the energy of the moment. Each session is alive, organic, and shaped by the breath and the body’s natural rhythm.

As a Mountain Leader, I bring the outdoors into the practice: mindful hikes, nature‑based sessions, and guided journeys across the mountains of Western Macedonia and beyond. The mountains teach humility, presence, and inner strength — qualities that flow into every class.

I am also training in Forest Bathing (Shinrin‑Yoku), adding a gentle, sensory dimension: slow pace, deep calm, and a profound connection with nature.

Shakti Peak Yoga is special because it doesn’t just invite you to practice yoga. It invites you to breathe with the mountains, listen to your body, and return to your own inner peace.

Who I teach and what you'll gain

I love teaching yoga to people who are seeking something deeper than movement — those who want to listen to their bodies, quiet their minds, and reconnect with their natural rhythm. Whether they are beginners or more experienced, what inspires me is the moment they realize that yoga is not performance; it’s a return to themselves.

I enjoy working with people who feel drawn to nature, who love the mountains, who want to walk mindfully and breathe more freely. During mountain journeys and nature‑based practices, I see people open up, ground themselves, and find space within.

What I hope they gain from my classes is clarity, strength, calm, and a sense of trust — trust in their bodies, in their breath, and in their path. To feel that the peak they are searching for is not somewhere outside, but within them.

"Shakti Peak Yoga is an invitation to breathe with the mountains, listen to the body, and remember that the peak you seek is already within you."
